The Story Behind the Brand
I'm Diane — maker, founder, and the face behind Three Wicks Candles, hand-poured from my home in Courtice, Ontario.
The name Three Wicks comes from the three most important people in my life: my three daughters. They are the light of my life, my pillars of strength, and the reason I push myself to build something meaningful every single day. Naming this brand after them felt like the only thing that made sense.
Candles have always been personal to me. One of my signature fall scents, Baker's Daughter, is inspired by my own childhood — my parents owned a bakery in Whitby, Ontario, and that warm, fresh-bread fragrance takes me straight back to working alongside my family. That's the power of scent. It doesn't just fill a room — it carries you somewhere.

Every material that goes into our candles, from the soy wax to the fragrance oils to the wicks and vessels, is sourced exclusively from Canadian suppliers. Why We Choose Soy
When I set out to build this business, I knew I wanted to create something I could feel genuinely proud of — a candle that was as clean, natural, and eco-conscious as possible.
After extensive research, I chose 100% natural soy wax — not a blend, not paraffin with a soy label, but pure soy. Here's why that matters:

Every Three Wicks candle is hand-poured in small batches from my home studio in Courtice, Ontario. I personally oversee every step — from fragrance blending to the final pour — to ensure each candle meets the quality standard I'd want in my own home.
No mass production. No shortcuts. Just a maker who genuinely cares about what goes into every jar.
Our candles are available online, through select local retailers across Ontario, and at seasonal markets and workshops throughout the year. We also offer a candle vessel Eco-Refill Program — because a beautiful jar deserves more than one life.
