Mother's Day String Art & Candle Workshop
Andrea and I are excited to be hosting another collab soy candle and string art workshop at the Maker’s Hub on Saturday May 13th from 1pm to 4pm. This is the perfect way to celebrate your mom or being a mom/pet mom. You’ll have a fun afternoon learning new crafts and creating a soy candle and string art photo holder. All materials are included and you get two workshops for $90 per person. It’s the perfect afternoon to celebrate Mother’s Day with your mom, child or mom friends.
I'm Diane of Three Wicks Candles, I will go through the proper burning process and how to get the most out of your candles. You will have the option of several scents to pick from or you can mix scents to make your very own original scented candle. You will also have a couple different 7oz vessel options to pick from. This will be at the workshop so that you can see what they look like first.
While your candle is curing you’ll learn the string art technique with Andrea and create the adorable string art photo holder.
There are 3 designs to choose from - Nana, Mom and Pet mom. You can display your favourite 4”x6” photo of the special people in your lives and customize your photo holder by selecting from 3 stain options - Ebony, Cappuccino and Driftwood and choose from over 40+ string colours.
We always have such a fun time at our collaboration workshops and can’t wait to help you celebrate the special moms in your lives.
* Note if you would like to sign up with your little one and work on it together that is also an option. You both attend but pay for one spot and take home a candle and string art made together.
